Who are eligible to enroll for Vayogen Membership?
Anyone over the age of 60 are eligible to enrol for the membership. A person can enrol for her/himself or for their parents. It starts on completion of 2 years from the date of payment towards membership fees.

What if I decide to avail the services after 5 or 10 years? Will I have to pay extra?
You can avail the services at any time in your life. You will have to pay only after 700/350—day membership period.
Is Signature AgedCare an old age home?
No. Signature AgedCare is not an old age home. It’s a foremost institution that offers professional hospice, rehabilitation, palliative and geriatric care.
Do I have to stay for the entire 350/700 day period in one go?
No. You can avail the services intermittently on need basis. Once the specified days are exhausted only you need to pay.
What if I never use the service?
Vayogen Membership is a price-protected plan. If you decide to discontinue the membership, you can exit after 5 years and get your money back! You can encash the unutilized days too.
What is your expertise in end-of-life care?
Signature AgedCare has been providing end-of-life care for over 8 years. During this period, we have taken care of 1600+ parents at our fully-equipped centres at Kakkanad and Chalikkavattom in Kochi and facilitated a peaceful and dignified death to over 300 people.
Why is end-of-life care a necessity in Kerala?
With a significant number of Keralites living outside the state, the number of aged people with close family members residing abroad is rising in Kerala. Besides, with increasing life expectancy, people are living longer, but with low quality of life.
This necessitates the need for end-of-life care for the aged. People falsely believe that they can care for the old and bedridden at home, with assistance from hired home nurses. Very often, the hired staff are untrained, and this leads to physical discomfort and trauma for the ailing family member and emotional and financial strain for the rest of the family.
Social stigma prevents people from availing the services of specialised care centres and instead relying on untrained home nurses. A professional end-of-life care facility ensures that the aged and the invalid spend the remainder of their days pain-free, in a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. The aged and terminally ill require ‘Tender Loving Care’ more than medicines and life-saving equipments.

“I believe that the biggest blessing on earth, after birth, is a peaceful death. After leading lives, it’s the right of every human to spend the rest of their days with happiness and die in peace with dignity.
But in the last stages of life, it’s the people around who take decisions for you without caring forwhat you want. And these decisions are emotional rather than practical or rational.
The elderly are either left to the mercy of untrained home nurses or to agonising invasive life-saving’ treatments at hospitals.
My philosophy is to add life to the days left rather than just adding the days!!
And that’s the guiding principle behind Signature AgedCare.
Our experience led to the founding of the Vayogen Membership plan created to pre-secure the level of care in one’s terminal or last stages in life. This program would be embraced by those who value life and believe in a peaceful and dignified end of life care. After all, who wouldn’t like to ‘End in peace to rest in peace’.
